Business Development Intern
We are looking for a Business Development Intern to help us identify and expand our business opportunities. Your role will be to interact with clients, acquire new users, growth hacking, do B2B and B2C sales, building new business relationships with synergistic partners, identify new sales leads, pitch products and/or services and maintain fruitful relationships with existing customers. As Driven is based in NUS, you will get to be part of the startup and hackathon community which Driven is closely affiliated to.
You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales services and onboarding users from the very onstart.

Responsibilities
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
Present our company to potential clients
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Managing Social Media and backend customer service
Requirements
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) to onboard users and dealers to the marketplace.
Track record of achieving sales quotas.
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts) to do reports and analyse performance.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field.
Worked in a startup before and/or have a keen interest to work in one.
