Datavis is a local growing company that strives to build intuitive and design-centric platforms that facilitates the ingestion of data, through data processing pipelines till the stage we, as a company thrive and pride ourselves in, which is data visualisation. Our mission is to make small work of big data and to breathe life into those data through our brand of visualisations. We have created platforms for institutions like NUS and SMU as well as A*Star and our visualisations have been used by many government organisations.

We believe in the power of data and the insights it brings. As a design-centric company, we hope to bring high-impact visualisations to people with great ideas and to enable them to bring their ideas forth without the need to be overly 'technical'.

Datavis has been creating powerful visualisations for several well-known agencies and institutions, enabling them to achieve the goals they set out to achieve be it funding, views and buy-in's from stakeholders. Through this process, we have also been able to refine the data analytics pipeline that allows us to create such powerful visuals. We are at the stage where we want to productise and create a PAAS system to be able to reach out to the global market.

We are looking for someone who loves Javascript and knows the ins and outs of it.. a person who also possess a geeky streak of mathematical thinking given the scope of projects that we work with. What we envision of our ideal candidate is: 1) a candidate with good interpersonal and people management ability who can help to facilitate company-developer relationship, 2) someone meticulous who works with the product/ project managers and UI/UX developers to understand the project requirements, break-down tasks into singular components for developers, track task progress, test and integrate the software components and ultimately deliver all required metrics and specs, 3) a personable attitude and a person who believes in team-play, analytical and resourceful in pre-empting and solving project obstacles, 4) experienced in managing tech projects/ teams using agile methodologies, 5) experienced in DevOps
