What we do

Formerly known as Spastic Children’s Association of Singapore, the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS), was established in 1957 to provide persons with Cerebral Palsy and multiple disabilities with early intervention, special education, rehabilitation services, day activity centre programmes, vocational training and gainful employment in Singapore. At present, we look after over 700 clients ranging in age from a few months to 55 years old.

Our vision is to empower all persons with Cerebral Palsy to realise their full potential and lead fulfilled, dignified lives. We are dedicated to: - Delivering fully integrated programmes and services at the highest standards with passion, integrity, care, and excellence - Creating awareness of Cerebral Palsy, and advocating equal opportunities for all persons with the condition

Respect is the fundamental value that guides the actions of our staff! We are looking for a speech & language therapist aide who will be involved in the following: - To assist Speech Therapists during therapy sessions and in clinics - To assist with Department in the following administrative tasks. - To assist the Department with parent / caregiver / teacher training. - To facilitate smooth running of the department. - Develop competencies in basic handling skills of clients with special needs. We are looking for a motivated individual who possesses the following: - Minimum GCE O Level completed. - Certification in Therapy assistant course from HMI or certified in any therapy related WDA approved course / willing to complete certification after joining. - Provide administrative support to the department –proficient in basic Microsoft word, power point, Excel. - Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards. - Undertake any duties assigned by the therapists and / or Head of the Speech and Language Pathology Department. - Good communication skill in verbal and written form. - Willing to provide individual and group therapy under the supervision of the therapists. - Prior VWO experience will be an advantage.
