WAAVE is one of the leading ordering app in Singapore to order and pay at bars, restaurants and events. You can buy food, drinks, tickets and more! We help venues speed up their service and make customers happy. We have digital memberships and loyalty programmes available and you can send money or drinks through the app as well - WAAVE is convenient, efficient and social. We are always happy to continue development and add new fun and useful features often.

We like to work hard and play hard. WAAVE is about creating a better experience in F&B for both customers and venues. All that waiting around to order or pay, standing in line or struggling to split a bill between a group - with WAAVE, all this is gone! Customers are happy, staff are happy - we are here to make your life easier and more fun.
How we do
WAAVE has helped venues to increase their revenue by 20% and encourages repeat custom. It is a vertically integrated platform that wraps all vendors needs into one single system. We want to spread the WAAVE love all over Singapore, Asia, and the world, so everyone can enjoy better and faster service more easily. Our team goes out to our venues and events together and we enjoy ourselves while working in the office too. We truly are a team! We embrace the start up culture and are motivated to grow and make an impact.

Join us as a Software Developer in technical design, development and deployment of WAAVE’s platform services. Other responsibilities include:
• Designing and building crisp, clean, reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimising WAAVE services for maximum speed and scalability.
• Continuously improving development processes by implementing continuous integration/deployment and infrastructure as code automation.
• Peer review development deliverables from other team-members.
• Ah-hoc support for WAAVE production services.
Sounds like your line of work? We are looking for an individual who has:
• Proven experience developing and supporting back-end software services.
• Expert knowledge of PHP, or similar technology (Laravel Framework a plus), AngularJS and Javascript.
• Proficient understanding of Git and Git best practices.
• Proficient understanding of OWASP security principles.
• Hands-on experience managing and automating AWS services
• Must be Singaporean or PR.
