What we do

Gush is a new-age chemical company that aims to revolutionise the paint coating industry with a social cause. We spent close to two years in extensive R&D to create a passive and permanent air purifying paint, otherwise known as our hero product, the odourless “AirPure Interior Paint.” Our paint allows us to help create a safer environment for families at home to live, work, and play.

Why we do

We originally began to address indoor air pollution. This project was idealised in 2015 when the haze skyrocketed to an ultimate high. Moreover, from our personal experiences with childhood asthma, allergies, and sinusitis, our desire to help create better indoor environments for the world was stronger than ever. We began by addressing the area with the biggest surface area of any room - walls! Thus, the inception of our air purifying paint.

How we do

With our innovative air-purifying paint coating solutions (that absorb harmful compounds and neutralise surrounding airborne pollutants), we are on a mission to combat indoor air pollution in a green and sustainable manner. Furthermore, we strongly believe in reforestation and giving back to the society by creating employment for the underprivileged. We are currently optimising and integrating our upstream and downstream business avenues. The objective for the next 6 to 12 months are: 1) Creating a full pledge product line (Exterior paint, Air purifying spray, Merchandises) 2) Creating an end to end online sustainable renovation platform to value add our stakeholders 3) Creating and building a self sustaining online community that focuses on green and sustainable living. 4) Expanding into 4 countries by the end of 2018 (Mainly Indonesia, Thailand, Maldives, South Africa) Join us on our exciting adventure - creating safer indoor environments, one painted wall at a time!

As a new team member

Introduction: We’re currently seeking for someone to undertake the position of admin cum HR role. You’ll support the team and provide personalized secretarial and organized administrative support as needed to the executive in a professional and timely manner. Additionally, you are also required to provide support to the HR duties and functions. Your Day-to-Day Tasks includes: - Procurement and monitoring of office supplies. -Coordination with the sales team, maintain their sales activity records and prepare sales reports. -Research on the best administrative processes, workflows, policies etc. -Ensure prompt response to enquiries/or resolution to customer complaints. -Proactively maintain and enhance relationship with clients. -Maintain daily electronic journal, arrange meetings and appointments and provide reminders as needed. -Posting of new positions on job portals -Track cost and effectiveness of media outlets for postings of jobs -Manage the Pre Employment Process -Be actively involve in the hiring process: posting of job listings, review resumes, conducting interviews, making job offers -Assist in payroll preparation -Properly handle complaints and the grievance procedures from employees -Come up with ideas on improving employees wellbeing in motivating them to perform well in the roles -Review regularly the effectiveness of the rewards whether it motivates the employees to perform better -Work proactively with other members -Understanding the job roles well and analyze carefully how potential candidates can fit into the job position -Aware of the HR Laws and Regulations -Assist in training and development of staffs Requirements: -Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management or related preferred. -Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills -Strong management and communication skills -IT Knowledge required -Min 1 year working experience in the relevant field -Positive attitude and pro-active -Proficient in MS words, excel and powerpoint -Ability to multi task and work well under stress -Independent and intrinsically motivated -Photoshop/Illustrator skills (A Bonus) Additional Application Instructions: For quicker processing of your email application, please indicate in your resume: Current & Expected salary| Reason(s) for leaving| Residential Address| Date of Birth| Availability to start work| Recent photo.
