Asia Startup Network is a community of Southeast Asian founders who inspire and support each other throughout the fundraising and startup journey. We provide a platform for networking, fundraising, and mentorship opportunities that facilitate connections between startup founders.

We run our community on slack and telegram and organise regular curated in-person/virtual events and programs.
ACADEMY
We think that hard work without knowledge and insights is not enough. At our events, we invite seasoned entrepreneurs investors, ecosystem partners to share valuable insights with entrepreneurs through panels and fireside chats and provide networking opportunities for entrepreneurs to find their cofounder, next investor, mentor, partner or customer.
VENTURE BUILDING
Our goal is to help impactful companies scale up, through our network of partners across Asia, as well as marketing and fundraising experts.

As a new team member
Job Title: Volunteer – Asia Startup Network (Indonesia)
Location: Remote / Indonesia (with occasional in-person events)
Commitment: Part-time, Flexible (5-10 hours per week)
Duration: 3-6 months (extendable based on performance)
[Role Overview]
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Volunteer to support the Indonesia Lead in organising events, managing community engagement, and assisting with operational tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the startup ecosystem, expand your network, and contribute to meaningful initiatives.
[Key Responsibilities]
Event Coordination Support:
- Assist in planning, promoting, and executing virtual and in-person events (meetups, webinars, pitch competitions).
- Coordinate logistics, including speaker outreach, registrations, and post-event follow-ups.
- Help manage event platforms (Zoom, Meetup, etc.) and engage attendees.
Community Engagement:
- Support outreach to startups, founders, investors, and ecosystem partners in Indonesia.
- Help manage ASN’s social media (LI, IG, WA/Telegram groups) to foster engagement.
- Collect feedback and insights to improve community initiatives.
Administrative & Operational Support:
- Assist with data management, email communications, and scheduling.
- Contribute to content creation (event summaries, newsletters, blog posts).
- Research local startup trends, partners, and sponsorship opportunities.
[Requirements]
- Passion for startups, entrepreneurship, and tech ecosystems in Indonesia.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Basic knowledge of social media and communication tools (Google Workspace, Canva, LI).
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken).
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently.
- Prior experience in events, community management, or startups is a plus but not required.
