We are looking to expand our team in Asia with a Marketing Manager (Content). You are interested in marketing and technology, and you want to use technology to build community. You have great communication skills and are able to position Peatix products and features to a diverse audience. You have strong analytical ability and are able to use various tools to test your assumptions and optimise our marketing efforts.
You are comfortable creating marketing content, including written, visual and video content. You are comfortable taking the lead on campaigns, yet able to inclusively work across teams.
In this role, you will report to the General Manager, Asia, while working closely with our global marketing and product development team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and implement content marketing strategies; Create and articulate compelling value propositions of Peatix to users in English speaking markets
- Analyze data to develop lead generation funnel for the various Peatix products
- Produce publicity materials including promotional graphics, handouts, and posters, video content
- Send weekly email newsletters to inform users on Peatix events and news.
Requirements
- 2 years experience working on marketing and social media in the lifestyle, entertainment, and technology sectors is an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about issues and develop and implement action plans.
- A solid understanding of marketing on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ are essential in this position.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude, a creative and flexible mindset, and an ability to work out of hours (when required).
- You must be able to work both independently and as part of a busy team.
- Good communication skills in English is essential, both written & verbally.
- Proficiency in design software including Photoshop & Illustrator is desired but not essential. Proficiency in data tools like Google Analytics and Kissmetrics is highly desired
