The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is a non-profit organisation promoting a giving culture in Singapore through catalysing development in volunteerism and philanthropy to build a City of Good.

It is led by National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) in partnership with Singapore Business Federation Foundation (SBFF) and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY).We help companies to give better and more holistically through a self-discovering journey of first understanding how they give, then equipping with the right tools, and finding like-minded partners to do good. Other than working with a fun & passionate team, we offer you the experience of learning from social intrapreneurs and corporate leaders who are doing impactful work in the community. You will learn strategies on corporate giving, as well as stakeholder management & engagement with partners, intermediaries and companies under the Company of Good network. You will also be mentored in various aspects of programme/event strategy, planning and management. The available roles are: Role #1: Capability Development for Company of Good Aims to enhancing the knowledge and skills of current and future corporate giving leaders. This includes: * Setting the Standard – Framework & Guidelines to recognise good standards and practices undertaken by companies in corporate giving * Building the Profession - Company of Good Fellowship * Support the Eco-System Development – Influencing & developing multipliers of corporate giving, facilitating partnerships with intermediaries and institutions Key activities for the role include: * Work with consultants in the groundwork of impact assessment of key programmes/initiatives and framework development * Develop and implement knowledge management, documentation and review of programmes/initiatives * Support in the planning of activities for eco-system development ---'---------------------------------- Role #2: Champions of Good + President Volunteerism & Philanthropy Award (PVPA) - Corporates Champions of Good recognises companies who are catalysts of change - not only been exemplary in their corporate giving efforts, but have also been an influencer and multiplier by engaging their partners and stakeholders on a collaborative giving journey. In 2017, 45 companies were recognised as Champions of Good. The PVPA - Corporate awards companies who are exemplary in their corporate giving that is conferred by the President of Singapore. Each year, one Large Enterprise and one Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) is awarded. Key activities for the role include: * Work with partners/companies in outreach and support to companies for application process * Screen applications and perform desktop research to analyse information provided for submitted applications * Prepare reports needed for management and panel judges’ reading and final voting * Collate information for marketing collaterals * Support in event management and planning * Arrange for interviews and notes-taking for the interviews with shortlisted nominees * Involved in other initiatives on marketing & events planning Join us to do good together and grow our vision - “Goodness is the Business of Every Organisation”!
