Responsibilities
* Recruit people from different levels (Experienced, fresh grad, interns) depending on business needs
* Manage relationship with schools and institutions to ensure that company stays in touch with the hiring market
* Own the hiring process of a new joiner from offer letter generation, new hire documents, background checks, first day orientation, processing of office documents and payroll setup
* Be up to date with the labour laws of respective countries and ensure that all documents are processed in a timely fashion
* Manage all employee database reporting and making sure the information is up to date
* Be comfortable with analyzing data, identifying trends and presenting findings to the rest of the business team
Be constantly thinking ahead and acting pro-actively, planning for future needs without being prompted
Qualifications:
* University degree plus 1-2 years of HR experience at a likeminded company (i.e. start up, ecommerce, technology based)
* Experience in hiring blue collar workers is an advantage
* Strong communicator, must be empathetic and articulate in all communication
* Familiarity with payroll system, workflows and regulations
* Team player who is willing to do anything to support the team and business
* Extremely organized and strong, astute attention to detail
* Must exhibit respect and understanding of the importance of confidentiality
* Must have a scrappy approach to problem solving, self starter and a can-do attitude
* Strong work ethic and proven loyalty
* Strong passion for work, life and people; must be an overall positive person
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
