As a new team member

An opportunity exists for an amazing, entrepreneurial, strategic Chief Growth Officer/CMO to join our Singapore team and partner with us in this early stage start-up for a thrilling ride into the future. You will work closely with the founders to develop, agree, and implement a global end-to-end marketing and business development strategy to position and build the Howdy brand, drive demand, and deliver revenue. Specifically, your responsibilities will include: - Continuous market scanning and competitive analysis; - Market segmentation and target customer profiling; - Brand positioning, messaging, and building; - Go-to-market strategy and execution using the full suite of marketing functions, with a strong focus on growth-hacking, digital demand generation, and ROI; - Building out our Howdy Concierge consulting business; - Preparing and managing leadership team operational dashboards to enable focused leadership strategy discussions. What we’re looking for: We‘re looking for a globally experienced Chief Growth Officer/CMO hungry to take ownership and help build our business. You are likely a classically trained marketer, and will have B2B and B2C marketing experience, with a solid background in technology. You will have evidence of your body of work across all the 8 P’s of marketing from product, through pricing, promotion, place, people, processes, physical evidence, and of course productivity (or performance – your call!). Ideally, you will have sales experience selling to enterprise as well as SMBs. Your experience will encompass work in multinational companies as well as in start-ups, and you will have worked across many countries and cultures. If you’ve been part of a team that has raised investor funding or prepared for an IPO, even better! In terms of personality and approach, you will be agile, have a growth mindset, be prepared to think differently and challenge the status quo. If you’re anything like our Howdy team, you will have more energy and enthusiasm than you know what to do with, and be all about networking and connecting the dots (and the people!) to make things happen. You’ll be courageous in your approach, achievement-oriented, committed in your follow through, resilient (by that we mean optimistic/confident/creative in outlook), and be focused on excellence rather than perfection.
