In 2015, our founder Damian was trying to sell his car on his own. As a first time seller, he encountered many unreasonable offers from buyers taking advantage of his inexperience, and he had many doubts about the heavy paperwork involved. After this bad experience, Damian wanted to help other drivers selling their cars. He came up with the idea of a reliable third-party platform that could mediate between buyer and seller, and where drivers could find expert help for any doubts they had. Thus, Motorist.sg was born. Over just 2 short years, we have grown to a full team of 20 people, and helped over 5000 drivers, transacting more than $100,000,000 successfully.
