Key Responsibilities - Working closely with the engineering team to deliver production code; - Write unit tests for all the code written (TDD process); - Respect the development processes of the team and document the code written; - Collaborate with the data team, understand their requirements and contribute to a good and clean design. Key skills - Basic understanding of the main programming paradigms: imperative, object oriented, functional; - Experience with TDD process; - Experience working in an agile team; - Experience with at least two programming languages among: Elixir, JavaScript, Python, Ruby. - Understanding of Database technologies, in particular Postgres; familiarity with non-SQL databases; understanding of ORMs and data-model migrations; Nice to have: - Contributions to OS projects; - Public GitHub account showing some history; - Contributions to the StackOverflow community.
