What we do

Noggin is the world's first personal data exchange, blazing this trail through our pioneering mobile apps of Podsense and Podket.

Why we do

Our Vision is a world where every individual is empowered to monetize and manage his/her own personal data and privacy. Our Mission is to be the default marketplace where any individual could collect and use their enriched data for personalized value/benefits, and where sellers could obtain truly insightful consumer behavior related information; all with protection of personal privacy.

How we do

WHAT DO WE OFFER? - podsense - podket NOGGINPOD Each same user of Podsense and Podket will be given a Noggin Pod (“Pod”) for storing and sharing his/her contextual Privately Owned Data. The owner is called a Podder. As a person assumes different “actor roles” over time – as a consumer, shopper, professional, user, patient, seller, etc; so the Pod is uniquely organized to integrate the different datasets one generates.

As a new team member

Noggin is in the business of helping individuals manage and monetize their data, which is stored on containerized Private Data Stores. Users monetize their data from (i) sharing with worthwhile organizations seeking customer intimacy, and (ii) contributing to data aggregation queries/statistical learning processes that they authorize. Your Role: - DevOps engineer with strong Amazon Web Services experience - Work collaboratively with our Software Engineers to deploy and operate our platforms - Help in the Automation and Streamlining of our operations and processes - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in all our environments - development, staging and production. Your Work - Create, customize and maintain a suite of tools for deploying and monitoring our systems - Create Cloud Formation templates to build AWS services that support our custom Scala microservices. - Backup Databases residing in AWS RDS and EC2 instances - Infra security hardening Your Skills - Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration - Experience with automation/configuration management using either Jenkins, Github, Drone.io, Puppet, Chef or an equivalent - Strong experience with PostgresSQL and MongoDB - Familiarity with AWS Instance Types, Route 53, RDS a plus - A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl, Scala and/or Ruby) - Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
