The Program and Operations Intern at Her Rise Above will have a dynamic role in supporting the program's operations and growth. Reporting to the Senior Manager Program and Grants, the intern will help coordinate, communicate, and engage with stakeholders including Risers, Guides, and other stakeholders. They will also be responsible for maintaining the program’s tech platforms and social media handles. The intern will also assist in identifying partnership opportunities and resources to expand and deepen the impact of Her Rise Above.
This role offers a unique opportunity to create a meaningful impact through the program while gaining valuable experience in program coordination and community engagement. The position can be either full-time or part-time (4 hours x 5 days) on a contractual basis for an initial period of 6 months, with a possibility of extension based on performance evaluation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
[PROGRAM COORDINATION]
● Assisting with program coordination, including communicating with Risers, Guides and community and corporate partners
● Providing support and resources to help Risers with their home-based businesses; monitoring their progress on a weekly basis.
● Assisting with event coordination, logistics, and organising learning opportunities for Risers - particularly during the busy periods of Deepavali and Christmas.
● Assisting with volunteer management.
[OPERATIONS]
● Maintaining and managing files and documentation related to the program
● Supporting the maintenance of the program's website and managing social media handles; Ensuring smooth operations and updates for Canva, Google Drive, and Shopify
● Collecting data for program evaluation and impact analysis.
● Performing any other duties assigned by the Senior Manager Programs and Grants and/or Director of Philanthropy

They have exceptional organisational abilities and a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate product listings, maintain catalogue consistency, and implement strategies for improved management.
