What we do

Fish Mart Sakuraya is a one-stop Japan center with over 30 years of history in Singapore. Director Teruyoshi Abe started wholesale business to Japanese restaurants and supermarkets.

Why we do

Today, the company has four stores in Singapore, each of which combines a supermarket and a restaurant to offer Japan ingredients and Japan dishes to customers who love Japan food. They serve a variety of Japan food, including fresh sashimi, on-the-spot sushi, Japan sake, shochu, ice cream, sweets, and drinks.

How we do

Fish Mart SAKURAYA is well known for its fresh sashimi which is directly imported from Japan. Thus, Singaporean can enjoy the authentic Japanese cuisine in Singapore.

As a new team member

As an Accounts & Admin Assistant at Sakuraya, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our business. Job Responsibilities • Sorting out of all purchase documents & Point-of Sales (POS) receipts from the packet. • Update all types of vouchers & consolidate all physical mall vouchers tally with the daily report. • To pass SLT physical vouchers to accounts executive for submission. • Update staff discount, birthday vouchers report for checking purpose, for first three months only. • Download all Delivery platform daily orders to tally with Z readings. • Identifying sales discrepancies and liaise with respective personnel to resolve discrepancies by tallying all POS payment modes. • Photocopy and scanning of AR documents/ receipts for shortages/gains, error reports in soft copies such as missing/duplicate orders, delivery platform receipts not submitted by the outlet. • Prepare letter for Sales catch up in POS. • Bundle & packed all the POS, settlement report & platform receipts daily per outlet. • Filing all documents including Payment vouchers, invoices with supporting Quotation and/or PO. • Assist in MYOB entries (AP & AR) for monthly closing (3 months parallel run). • Assist in MS Dynamics BC detailed entries, training provided. Job Requirements • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not always required. • Proficiency in basic accounting principles and practices. • Ability to handle financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Understanding of financial statements, invoices, and purchase orders. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when dealing with financial data and records.
