We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Childcare Facility Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for children in our childcare facility. Your primary tasks will include cleaning and disinfecting play areas, restrooms, common areas, and other surfaces, as well as maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the facility. Job Responsibilities • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in the childcare facility. • Clean and sanitize toys, play equipment, and other surfaces regularly to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment. • Empty and sanitize trash receptacles, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials. • Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and changing tables, to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. • Restock essential supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels as needed. • Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel. • Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations. • Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals safely. Job Requirements • Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred. • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals. • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move heavy objects if required. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Flexibility to work during non-business hours or weekends, as needed.
