As a Debt Recovery Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of accounts and ensuring the timely collection and recovery of debts. Your responsibilities will involve conducting field visits, negotiating settlements, and collaborating with legal advisors to pursue legal action when necessary. Job Responsibilities • Manage a portfolio of accounts to ensure timely debt collection and recovery. • Conduct field visits to meet clients and negotiate settlements. • Liaise with legal advisors to pursue legal action for debt recovery, when necessary. • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities. • Maintain a high level of customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures. • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve disputes and discrepancies. • Continuously improve the debt collection process by identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness. Job Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of field collection experience, preferably in the financial services industry. • Legal experience or knowledge related to debt recovery processes. • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • High level of integrity and professionalism. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Possess a Driver's license.
