What we do

Our clients are an established international bank which is part of a major conglomerate based in Korea. With our current growth and expansion, they are currently looking for a AVP / VP Human Resource and Administration to join their team.

As a new team member

You will be responsible for curating and aligning effective Human Resources strategies, policies and programmes to acheive the organization’s goals Specific duties include: • Oversee and manage the entire spectrum of HR functions • Develop, review, monitor all policies, processes, systems, and other initiatives to stay dynamic and agile, meeting the business's and employees' evolving needs and priorities. • Provide workforce planning and forecasting in alignment with the business on current and future requirements • Partner with Businesses and relevant stakeholders to place the right people with the right values and capabilities, ensuring a robust talent pipeline and retention. • Focus on people development and alignment of the team structure to enable and drive successful outcomes. • Partners closely with the leadership team to ensure consistency and alignment of all HR initiatives and people strategies, including supporting employee and leadership development and developing succession plans for key positions and/or critical roles within the organization • Build favorable relationships as a trusted advisor to the Management and increase overall employee engagement and participate in all strategic planning and decision-making processes • Acts as an ambassador for the organization’s culture and identify relevant trends and propose actions, related to employee engagement to develop a strong organizational culture • Identify and lead the change process from the conceptual to execution phase • Spearhead the organization’s Annual Performance Review and Salary Review & Promotion exercise and works closely with the relevant stakeholders • Drive analysis and reporting of learning metrics to assess the impact of learning initiatives, leverage insights to make recommendations to enhance the employees’ learning experience • Provide coaching and guidance Line Managers to deliver an exemplary employee experience • Deliver support for core HR services including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding & offboarding, leave and benefits administration, payroll, insurance procurement and renewal, etc. • Support day-to-day operations and payroll and ensure that all aspects of operations meet organizational goals To be a successful candidate, you should: • Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Business/ Human Resources or within areas of discipline, with at least 10-15 years of relevant HR experience • Master’s degree in Business or HR would be an advantage • At least 5 years working experience in the Banking industry in Singapore • The ability to work and manage HR challenges/ projects independently in a fast-paced environment Required Languages (Brief description of the language skills needed to perform the job). • Ability to communicate in English fluently (oral and written) is an absolute must. • Ability to speak Korean language will be an advantage.
