Being driven and self-motivated will be an essential quality. Job Responsibilities: • Sourcing new products for the sales team to promote to customers. • Working with the sales team for product development for custom-made products. • Requesting and negotiating for the best price with new and existing overseas and local vendors. • Working with vendors on quality issues to be reworked or replaced. • Following up on the order process until the goods arrive in Singapore Office. • Maintenance of suppliers’ database. • Monitoring inbound freight and ensuring timely delivery. • Working with overseas purchasing colleagues for logistics matters in China. • Liaising with local freight forward on goods delivery upon arrival in Singapore. • Maintaining payment records to Suppliers. • Following up on ad-hoc duties as assigned. Job Requirements: • ‘O’ Levels and above. • No sourcing experience needed. Working experience will be an advantage. • Training will be provided. • Good computer knowledge MS Excel, MS Outlook and familiar with using WeChat. • Must be able to type and speak Chinese to communicate with overseas suppliers. • Pro-active, Self-discipline and independent.
