About the Role:
We see Social Media as an essential link between the brand and our customers. As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our brand presence across all of our social media channels. You are up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You are curious, hungry, and ambitious to create beautiful things. You are an excellent communicator and have a sharp eye for content creation. You are initiative, embrace challenges and take pride in your work. Passive is not in your vocabulary.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and create a digital marketing calendar to align with business goals.
• Conceptualise and lead the creation of digital content across all social media channels including Instagram / TikTok / YouTube / Facebook.
• Schedule daily / weekly content across our social media platforms with engaging captions in our brand voice
• Create copy for digital assets in our brand voice.
• Work with the customer service team to quickly respond to customer queries through social media to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Identify and cultivate influencer relationships for PR.
• Strategically test, review and optimize social content to continuously improve performance and grow our social media presence.
• Weekly reporting per social channel inclusive of engagement rates and follower counts with action items and learnings.
Skills:
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task efficiently and can work well both as a team and independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills including highly developed presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Adobe apps, Photography, and Videography.
• Expert in social media app functions.
• Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to wear different hats when needed.
• A keen interest in the cosmetics/beauty industry.
