Being a backend engineer at XanPool As a member of the xanpool backend team we build scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant systems and APIs that service thousands of customers and partners. You will be involved building the most critical parts of our systems such as pricing oracles, liquidity aggregation across exchanges, bank accounts and e-wallets. These mission critical parts of our system require state of art testing and monitoring. We need to make sure that a fault in one of our partners doesn't lead to collapse of the whole system or stale prices. The opportunity You will be building & scaling our systems, defining best practices for the company, and mentoring junior engineers. You will be involved in scaling our engineering team and creating processes within the company that will enable us to iterate quickly and with high quality. Requirements More than 5 years of experience as a backend engineer Solid understanding of system design Understanding pros & cons of microservices Great communication skills and being able to lead the team Understanding OOP & Functional programming Write, test, instrument and document code. DevOps experience: Industry best practices for release deployments and monitoring feature rollout. Plus: Experience designing event based systems using either Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ or MSMQ
