VanMoof is an innovative bike company with a rapidly expanding rider community across the world. We’re on the look-out for a creative problem solver and a hands-on Operations Specialist ready to take our internal processes to the next level. Want to make an impact? You’ve come to the right place. You’ll have the skills to be able to set up, lead and improve all our fulfillment operations from the ground up. What you’ll do: - You’ll be responsible for the purchasing of bikes, bike parts and accessories. - You’ll manage the stock level in our Brand Store, including monitoring the forecast and managing warehouse inventory. - You’ll improve processes that will boost customer experience – making sure our riders get their bikes on time with the right information. - You will be responsible for warehouse distribution, inventory allocation and supply chain operations. - You’ll manage the outlet, RMA’s, servicing and warranty stock. - You’ll be key in improving our current vendor relationship – and/or be on the look out for a new operations set up (warehouse / shipping) in Japan. - You’ll be the link between our external warehouse supplier and internal operations team. - You’ll plan, supervise and monitor quality control and repairs with our Bike Doctors. - You’ll provide feedback and critical insights on facilitating and automating processes with our global Odoo team. - You’ll manage the rollout plan for quality checking stock, recalling actions and product issues. What you’ll bring: - You’ll have 2-3 years of experience working in logistics or warehouse operations. - You’ll have an excellent command of the Japanese language – both written and spoken. - You’ll be at intermediate level when it comes to speaking English. - You’re at one with automation and have buckets of confidence using digital tools. - You’re eager to solve problems in a scalable way. - You have a willingness to solve the puzzle and find the best result for the business.
