Job Description:
• Conceptualize and create a variety of visually compelling photo and video native content for social media channels (video edits, gifs, graphics, photos, stories, etc.) that requires creativity in design + production (i.e. you’ll sometimes need to be scrappy) and are rooted in our social purpose and brand ethos.
• Write creative copy that delivers brand messages in culturally relevant language.
• Seek out creative opportunities to expand the impact and cultural relevancy of client's brand.
• Bring forward ideas for creative innovation through new software, trends and creative techniques people are using to author, develop, and create content on social platforms.
• Develop and design social templates based on creative and brand guidelines with the oversight or the Creative Directors.
• Review social assets produced by other creative resources and optimize as needed, including influencer content for the brand.
• Publish social media content natively on client's social platform.
• Sell creative vision and get buy-in from multiple stakeholders.
• Educate clients on social best practices.
• Maintain relationships with key social platforms.
• Due to the evolving nature of social, the responsibilities of this role are not static and will evolve to meet new demands of the industry.

Job Requirements:
• 2-4 + years of social content creation experience for a brand or influencer account(s). Experience with paid social media is strongly preferred.
• Experienced in designing motion graphics, animation, and editing for major social media platforms. A portfolio with social media content examples is expected.
• Photography and video creation/production skills are a must.
• Deep understanding of the design principles and challenges of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok) and have a clear POV on the creative look and feel to generate consumer engagement.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop), mobile creator apps, and in-app editing (TikTok, IG Stories, etc.).
• Idea-driven, takes initiative, and a creative problem solver who likes to get stuff done.
• Comfortable managing constantly evolving platform landscape while providing clear POV’s and willingness to align/educate/compromise with internal partners.
