Ten years since it first became available to consumers, Sports Tracker on iOS was starting to show its age. Together we reinvented the experience on iOS and came out with a modern app that focuses on the essential.

At the heart of the new concept are your own workouts and content, providing a motivational boost with social interactions, and goal-setting. The redesigned visuals allow content and photography to take center stage, and a streamlined experience makes the app easy to use, even while out in the sunshine or on the trail.

To deliver on the concept, the team introduced rigorous agile development methods and a modern tech stack that made it possible to develop the new app quickly and efficiently.

The new app is designed to support the formation of exercise habits and to make tracking your own progress extra-simple. Added workout analysis makes it possible to track progress over time, so you can look at a whole month or year in one view.

You can also compete against their previous performance on the same route, and get detailed analysis on their performance, while notifications and the fun, lightly competitive leaderboard make it easier than ever to stay motivated.
