── OCE × JS Global Culture Fest 2025 開催レポート（Part2 中編）

約300名が集結した「Global Culture Fest 2025」。
OCE × JSのメンバーが“Something Global”をテーマに、言葉と文化でつながった一日。
第2回では、ステージを彩ったスピーチとコスチュームの熱気と感動をお届けします。

スピーチコンテスト：言葉に込めた“私のグローバル”

今年のスピーチテーマはひとつ。

「OCE / JSでの学びが、あなたの人生にどんな彩りをもたらしましたか？」

日本語部門・英語初級部門・英語中上級部門から、
それぞれ予選を勝ち抜いた9名のファイナリストが登壇しました。

ステージでは、歩きながら観客に熱く語りかける人、紙芝居を使って表現する人、
身振り手振りを交えて堂々と想いを伝える人。

なかには、所属校舎の講師の母国旗をネイルに描いた生徒様もいました。
まるでステージ上に、いつもサポートしてくれた講師が一緒に立っているよう。
その想いに、客席からは大きな拍手が起こりました。

スピーチの審査はオーディエンス投票。
観客の心を最も動かした3名が選ばれました。

🏆 スピーチコンテスト優勝者

• 日本語部門：Adrianさん（JS上野校）
• 英語初級部門：Yuunaさん（OCE五反田校）
• 英語中上級部門：Maryさん（OCE大宮校）

一人ひとりの人生の中にOCEやJSの存在があり、
それが彼らの世界を少しずつ広げている。
その事実こそが、このイベントの何よりの証でした。

World Costume Contest：世界を纏い、文化を誇るステージ

続くステージは、世界中の衣装が彩る「World Costume Contest」。
日本人の生徒様に加え、インドネシアやカナダ出身の講師など、
11名がエントリーしました。

お気に入りの音楽に合わせてランウェーを歩く参加者たち。
MCがコスチュームのテーマやこだわりを紹介すると、
会場からは「Wow!」「Beautiful!」「Kawaii!」と歓声があふれました。

優勝者は、上野校の講師・DJ（カナダ出身）。
彼女のルーツはインドにあり、祖父から贈られた伝統衣装「パンジャビスーツ」を着用して登場しました。

「この服は、家族の絆と故郷を思い出させてくれる。」

鮮やかな色の衣装と煌めくアクセサリー。
会場の光を受けて輝く姿に、観客から大きな拍手が送られました。

ステージ全体を包んだ “One & Colorful” の熱気

MCを務めたジョンとナナの掛け合いは、まさにユニーク。
英語と日本語を巧みに交えたトークで観客を巻き込みながら、
ステージの空気をどんどん温めていきました。

カラフルな照明の下、
スピーチ、衣装、音楽、笑顔が交錯するステージは
まさに「OCEらしさ」そのもの。

その場にいた誰もが感じたのは、

“Lively”——生き生きとしたエネルギー。
言葉や国籍を超えて、ひとつの空間が「ひとつのチーム」になっていました。

裏側にいた、新卒チームの挑戦

このステージ——そしてイベント全体の企画・運営を担ったのは、
2025年4月に入社したばかりの新卒チームでした。

リーダーに指名されたKanaeを中心に、
8名全員が意見を出し合いながら、ゼロからイベントを設計。
スピーチやコスチュームのステージ構成だけでなく、
会場レイアウト、文化体験ブース、運営マニュアルの作成まで、
まさに「総合プロデュース」に挑みました。

初めてのプロジェクト、限られた時間と予算。
「何をどう進めればいいのか」「誰に相談すべきか」——
わからないことだらけの中で、彼女たちは悩み、考え、行動しました。

「正解がないからこそ、自分たちで最適解を探す」

やりたいことすべてを形にすることはできなくても、
メンバー同士で励まし合い、手を取り合って前に進みました。

何もないところから創り出す難しさ。
でもそのぶん、成功したときの喜びはひとしお。

「全てが初めてでも、自分たちで調べてやってみる。」
そんな姿を見て、上司や先輩たちは胸が熱くなりました。

この経験は、きっと彼女たちのキャリアの“原点”になるはずです。

フィナーレ——歓声と拍手に包まれた瞬間

いよいよ結果発表の時間。
MCのジョンが会場を歩きながら、生徒様や講師に今日一日の感想を聞きました。
日本人の生徒様が英語でインタビューに答えると、
会場全体が笑顔と拍手に包まれます。

そして、静まり返る会場。

“The winner is…”

ドラムロールが鳴り響き、名前が呼ばれた瞬間、
歓声と大きな拍手が爆発しました。

フォトコンテスト、コスチュームコンテスト、スピーチコンテスト——
それぞれの優勝者がステージに呼ばれ、
代表取締役の兒嶋から賞品とともに温かい言葉が贈られました。

ラストは全員でダンス！
ステージ上では兒嶋を中心に、渋谷校のYumaとKinzuがリード。
観客も一緒に手を振り、笑顔で体を動かしながら、
会場全体が一体となって盛り上がりました。

 “言葉の力”が生んだ感動

スピーチで流れた涙、コスチュームで表現された文化の誇り、
そして運営の裏側で支え合ったチームの絆。

そのすべてが、このイベントの「One & Colorful」を象徴していました。

言葉はただのツールではなく、
世界と心をつなぐ架け橋になる。

OCEとJSのメンバー全員がそれを体感した瞬間——
それが、この日の最大の成果でした。

🎤 A Stage Overflowing with Words and Colors — When the World Becomes One　── OCE × JS Global Culture Fest 2025 Event Report (Part 2)

Nearly 300 people gathered for Global Culture Fest 2025.
Under the theme “Something Global,” members of OCE and JS connected through language and culture in a truly unforgettable way.

In Part 2, we bring you the excitement and emotion that filled the stage —
through powerful speeches and vibrant costumes.

🌈 Speech Contest: “My Global Story,” Spoken from the Heart

This year’s speech contest shared a single theme:

“How has learning at OCE / JS added color to your life?”

Nine finalists — three from each category
(Japanese, Beginner English, and Intermediate–Advanced English)
took the stage after advancing through the preliminary rounds.

Some speakers walked across the stage, passionately addressing the audience.
Others used picture storytelling, expressive gestures, or interactive elements to convey their message.

One student even painted the national flag of their teacher’s home country on their nails — a quiet but powerful symbol of gratitude and connection.

It felt as though the teachers who had supported them all along
were standing beside them on stage.
The audience responded with warm, heartfelt applause.

Judging was done through audience voting,
and three winners were selected — the speeches that moved hearts the most.

🏆 Speech Contest Winners

• Japanese Division: Adrian (JS Ueno School)
• Beginner English Division: Yuuna (OCE Gotanda School)
• Intermediate–Advanced English Division: Mary (OCE Omiya School)

Each speech reflected a personal life journey —
one in which OCE and JS had become a meaningful part.

That truth alone was the greatest proof of what this event represents.

👗 World Costume Contest: Wearing the World with Pride

Next came the World Costume Contest, where global cultures lit up the stage.

Eleven participants took part, including Japanese students
and teachers from Indonesia and Canada.

As participants walked the runway to their favorite music,
the MC introduced the story and inspiration behind each outfit.

“Wow!”
“Beautiful!”
“Kawaii!”

Cheers echoed throughout the hall.

The winner was DJ, a teacher from the Ueno School originally from Canada.
Her roots trace back to India, and she wore a traditional Punjabi suit —
a cherished garment gifted by her grandfather.

“This outfit reminds me of my family and my homeland.”

Under the stage lights, the vibrant colors and sparkling accessories shone brilliantly,
drawing a wave of applause from the audience.

🎭 A Stage Filled with “One & Colorful” Energy

The MC duo, John and Nana, delivered a truly unique performance.
Seamlessly switching between English and Japanese,
they engaged the audience and kept the energy flowing.

Under colorful lighting,
speeches, costumes, music, and smiles came together in perfect harmony.

What everyone felt in that moment was one word: Lively.

Beyond language and nationality,
the entire venue had become one team, one community.

👥 Behind the Scenes: The Challenge Taken on by the New Graduate Team

Behind the stage — and behind the entire event —
was a team of new graduates who joined the company in April 2025.

Led by Kanae, all eight members collaborated to design the event from scratch.

They were responsible not only for the speech and costume stages,
but also for venue layout, cultural experience booths,
and even creating the operations manual.

It was their very first major project.
Time and budget were limited.

“What should we do?”
“Who should we ask?”

With no clear answers, they struggled, thought deeply, and kept moving forward.

“When there’s no right answer, you search for the best one.”

Not everything they envisioned could be realized,
but they supported one another and continued together.

Creating something from nothing is never easy.
But that made the sense of achievement all the greater.

“Even when everything is new, we can research, try, and learn.”

Watching them, supervisors and senior staff couldn’t help but feel emotional.

This experience will surely become the starting point of their careers.

🏆 Finale: A Moment Wrapped in Cheers and Applause

At last, it was time for the results.

John walked through the audience,
interviewing students and teachers about their experience.

When a Japanese student answered confidently in English,
the venue filled with smiles and applause.

Then — silence.

“The winner is…”

A drumroll echoed.

As each name was called,
cheers and thunderous applause erupted.

The winners of the Photo Contest, Costume Contest,
and Speech Contest were invited to the stage,
where CEO Kojima presented their prizes along with heartfelt words.

And finally — dance time!

Led by Kojima, along with Yuma and Kinzu from the Shibuya School,
the stage came alive.

The audience waved their hands, moved their bodies,
and the entire venue became one joyful celebration.

💬 The Emotion Born from the Power of Words

Tears shed during speeches.
Cultural pride expressed through costumes.
Bonds formed behind the scenes through teamwork.

All of it embodied the true meaning of One & Colorful.

Language is not just a tool.
It is a bridge that connects hearts across the world.

On this day, every member of OCE and JS felt that truth.

And that was the greatest achievement of all.
