── OCE × JS Global Culture Fest 2025 開催レポート（Part 1 前編）

2025年10月13日、東京・浜松町のビジョンセンターグランデにて
OCE（One Coin English）とJS（Japan Switch）の合同イベント、
Global Culture Fest 2025 が開催されました。

今年のテーマは、「Something Global」。
生徒・講師・スタッフ合わせて約300名が一堂に会し、
言葉・文化・国籍を越えて“グローバル”を体感する一日となりました。

テーマに込めた想い

OCEとJSのミッションは、「グローバル人材の創出（Creating Global Talents）」
その実現のために、「グローバル」という言葉をもっと身近に感じてほしい——
そんな想いから、今年のテーマは “Something Global” に決まりました。

「何を身につけようかな？」「どんなものを持って行こうかな？」
イベントまでの時間を、ワクワクしながら過ごしてほしい。

当日は、各国の民族衣装、好きな海外アーティストやスポーツ選手のTシャツ、フェイスペイント、アクセサリーなど、それぞれが自由に自分らしい“Something Global”を身につけて来場しました。

イベント前ミーティングと準備の舞台裏

イベント当日の朝。
まだ会場が静まり返るなか、講師とスタッフ全員が集まりました。
リーダー陣から今日のゴールと期待が共有されると、
そこからは自然とメンバー同士の会話が広がっていきます。

 「このスペースにはどんなデコレーションが合うかな？」
「グローバル体験シェアボードは、どうやって活用したらワクワクするかな？」
「ちょっとここの動線を変えた方がスムーズかも。」

それぞれが意見を出し合い、互いにアイデアを交換しながら、
“どうしたら生徒様がもっと楽しめるか”を真剣に考える時間。

無機質だった会議室が、少しずつ色を帯びていく。
机の上にはカラフルな布や国旗、フォトプロップス、世界の雑貨。
飾り付けを手伝う講師、ポスターを貼るスタッフ、笑いながら写真を撮る人、
そのどれもが「OCEらしい One & Colorful な瞬間」でした。

「細かく指示しなくても、軸を共有すればチームは動ける」
——そのことを、全員が体感した時間でもありました。

オープニングセレモニー：Nana＆Johnの軽快な掛け合い

開場と同時に流れた音楽とともに、会場の空気は一気に華やかに。
ステージに登場したのは、MCの Nana と John。
日英バイリンガルの軽快な掛け合いに、会場中から笑いと拍手が起こります。

“Welcome to the Global Culture Fest 2025!”
“Let’s see your Something Global!”

「あなたのグローバルを見せて！」という呼びかけに応えるように、
観客席では次々と衣装を見せ合う人、写真を撮り合う人たちが。
オープニングから、リスニング力も笑顔もフル稼働のワクワク空間が広がりました。

“Show me your Global!” が合言葉に

受付では、“Something Global”を見せるとオリジナルグッズのプレゼントが。
講師や生徒様の最初の会話も、
「What’s your global?」「Where’s that from?」から自然に始まりました。

さらに、今回はリストバンド・ミッションも登場。
リストバンドには講師やスタッフのサインがあらかじめ書かれており、
「この人に会いたい！」「この人を探しています！」と声を掛け合う姿も。
会場内のあちこちで交流の輪が広がり、笑顔が絶えませんでした。

おもてなしの主役は講師たち

会場では、講師たちが“おもてなしの主役”として大活躍。
受付や誘導、スナック＆ドリンクブース、文化体験ブースなど、
どこに行っても講師の笑顔と温かい声かけがありました。

校舎を越えて連携し、役割を分担しながら、
「どうしたら生徒様にもっと喜んでもらえるか」を自ら考え、
リーダーを中心に主体的に動く講師・スタッフの姿がありました。

One & Colorful —— OCEらしいエネルギー

この日の会場はまさに「グローバル！」「One & Colorful！」。
ひとつのゴールに向かうエネルギーが満ち、
笑顔と拍手、そして国籍を超えた一体感が溢れていました。

久しぶりに再会した生徒様と講師が抱き合う姿、
色鮮やかなコスチュームを見せ合う瞬間。
そこには、OCEが大切にしてきた「人と人のつながり」がありました。

 代表・兒嶋からのメッセージ

「世界はこれから、分断に向かうのか、それとも調和に向かうのか。
私たちは、調和に向かうと信じています。
一人ひとりが自分の“色”を持ち、互いを理解し、尊敬し、歩み寄り、
ひとつになる世界を、OCEからつくっていきましょう。」

この言葉が示すように、
「エンゲージメントの高いチームがつくる、エンゲージメントの高いコミュニティー」
という12期の全社方針が、この日、会場全体で見事に体現されました。

 “Something Global” Connected 300 People into a One & Colorful Community

— OCE × JS Global Culture Fest 2025 Report (Part 1)

On October 13, 2025, One Coin English (OCE) and Japan Switch (JS) came together to host the Global Culture Fest 2025 at Vision Center Grande in Hamamatsuchō, Tokyo. This year’s theme was “Something Global”.

Bringing together nearly 300 students, teachers, and staff, the event became a vibrant celebration where everyone could feel what “global” truly means beyond words, borders, and nationalities.

The Story Behind the Theme

Both OCE and JS share the same mission: Creating Global Talents. To bring this mission closer to everyone’s daily life, this year’s theme “Something Global”  was born. We wanted participants to feel excited from the moment they heard it:

“What should I wear?”

“What should I bring that represents my global side?”

And on the event day, the creativity was dazzling - colorful traditional outfits, face paint, favorite band T-shirts, global accessories, each person expressing their own Something Global in their unique way.

Behind the Scenes: The Morning of the Event

Early that morning, before the doors opened, teachers and staff quietly gathered in the hall. Once the leaders shared the day’s goals and expectations, small conversations began to spark naturally:

“What kind of decoration would brighten this space?”
“How can we make the Global Experience Board more exciting?”
“Maybe we should change this route for smoother flow?”

Ideas flew, laughter filled the air, and what began as a plain meeting room slowly turned colorful, with fabrics, flags, photo props, and treasures from around the world. Everywhere you looked, people were helping, hanging posters, or taking cheerful photos together. It was the embodiment of OCE’s spirit; One & Colorful in action.

That morning reminded us of something powerful. “When we share the same purpose, the team naturally comes alive.”

The Opening Ceremony: Nana & John Lit Up the Stage

As the music began and the hall opened, the room instantly filled with energy. On stage appeared our bilingual MC duo Nana and John! Their dynamic English and Japanese banter drew laughter and applause from the crowd.

“Welcome to the Global Culture Fest 2025!”
“Let’s see your Something Global!”

People in the audience proudly showed off their outfits and took photos together, turning the entire hall into a joyful, multilingual celebration from the very start.

“Show me your Global!” The Phrase of the Day

At the reception, guests who shared their Something Global received an exclusive event gift. It became the perfect icebreaker.

“What’s your global?”
“Where’s that from?”

Soon, everyone was talking! This year also featured the wristband mission, where each band had a teacher or staff member’s name, and guests could seek out the person to meet them in real life. Across the venue, smiles spread as connections multiplied. It was truly a festival of friendship.

Teachers as the Stars of Hospitality

Throughout the event, OCE teachers took the lead as hosts. From the reception and snack bar to the cultural booths, their warmth and enthusiasm could be felt everywhere. They collaborated across schools, dividing roles and taking initiative, whilst always asking:

“How can we make our students even happier today?”

Their teamwork and ownership filled the venue with positivity and pride.

One & Colorful — The OCE Spirit in Full Bloom

The entire hall radiated with energy—Global, One & Colorful. Laughter, applause, hugs, and vibrant costumes filled the room, bringing OCE’s deepest value to life:

 “Human connection beyond borders.”

Seeing students and teachers reunite, sharing joy and stories from around the world, was a vivid reminder of why we do what we do.

A Message from Our CEO, Yuki Kojima

“Will the world move toward division—or harmony?
We believe in harmony.
A world where each person embraces their own color,
respects and understands others,
and walks together as one -
that’s the world we want to build, starting from OCE.”

His message beautifully echoed the company’s 12th-term vision:

 “An engaged team creates an engaged community.”

 And on this day, that vision came alive, right before our eyes.
